Gaussin: towards arbitration with Charbone Hydrogene

(CercleFinance.com) – Gaussin announces that it has initiated arbitration proceedings in the case of the license granted in May 2022 to the Canadian Charbone Hydrogne and denounced since then by the latter.

Gaussin recalls that he announced on May 23, 2022 an exclusive 20-year agreement with Charbone Hydrogen for the local assembly and marketing of zero-emission APM® and ATM® vehicles in Canada. Some details remained to be finalized by the parties.

“Charbone Hydrogen denounced the agreement on October 14, 2022, without consultation and in a surprising way”, assures Gaussin who, consequently, chose to initiate, on October 31, 2022, an arbitration procedure to claim 14, 1 million Canadian dollars plus interest and costs.

The Swiss Arbitration Center is currently overseeing the constitution of the arbitral tribunal.
