Gaza: Hamas leaves Cairo, talks continue

CAIRO, March 7 (Reuters) – The Hamas delegation participating in Cairo talks on a ceasefire in Gaza has left the Egyptian capital but talks will continue until an agreement is reached with Israel, the Palestinian group said in a statement on Thursday.

Negotiations began on Sunday in Cairo between Hamas and Egyptian and Qatari mediators, without the participation of Israel, in the hope of reaching a truce agreement before the start of the month of Ramadan, Sunday or Monday.
