GB-Accused of viewing porn in Commons, MP suspended by Tories

LONDON, April 29 (Reuters) – The Conservative Party, which is home to Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has suspended an MP for watching a pornographic video while the House of Commons is debating.

Elected since 2010, Neil Parish was suspended from office after appearing before a commission to assess compliance with ethics.

Without commenting on the underside of the case, the parliamentarian indicated that he would cooperate with the investigators.

“I understand of course the reasons for their concerns and I can only apologize,” he told reporters when asked if he understood the anger he caused. (William James; French version Nicolas Delame)
