When Koch Media presented his publishing label PrimeMatterhe mentioned in particular Scars Abovea new license developed by Mad Head Games. Well, the action-adventure game in a sci-fi world was finally unveiled on the occasion of the gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 :
Scars Above is a third-person shooter. which will take us to an alien planet, as his presentation explains:
When an enigmatic and gigantic alien structure (called “Metahedron” by humanity) appears in Earth’s orbit, the SCAR (Sentient Contact Assessment and Response) team, composed of scientists and engineers, is sent to investigate.
However, things don’t go as planned and the Metahedron sends the team across space to a strange extrasolar planet.
The player takes on the role of Dr. Kate Wars, a member of SCAR, who wakes up dazed and alone in a hostile environment. Determined to survive, she goes in search of her team and intends to lift the veil on the mysteries that surround her.
SURVIVE ANYTHING
Kate is an astronaut and a scientist, but she is not a soldier. She is resourceful and will do anything to survive.
Use a combination of different weapons, devices, consumables and melee weapons; manage your energy when running, dodging, exploiting your enemies’ weak points; learn effective tactics and defeat your opponents. Combine different elemental attacks to overcome difficulties and cross obstacles that before seemed insurmountable.

Explore an alien world filled with threats, beautiful landscapes and ruins reminiscent of an ancient civilization, albeit ahead of its time, which now seems to have disappeared.
Travel through different biomes, such as swamps, frozen wastelands, underground caverns, and alien facilities. Each environment offers its own challenges, enemies, secrets and dangers.
