We know of the existence, title and synopsis of The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me since the very release of the previous part of the anthology saga, House of Ashes. This episode sold as the last of the Season 1 of The Dark Pictures will lead us to explore the Murder Castlea reconstruction of the hotel owned by HH Holmes, considered America’s first serial killer, with a team of journalists to whom misadventures are bound to happen.
Supermassive Games revived the title recently with a never-before-seen trailer and the announcement of a special edition Animatronic, but we were still missing a key piece of information: the release date. It was confirmed during the gamescom 2022 with a trailer unveiling the novelties of gameplay : expect more exploration mechanics, inventories specific to each character and original one-off passages. It is mentioned in passing that the lifespan should exceed 7 hours.
As for the release date, it is therefore November 18 that we will find The Devil in Me on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. You can pre-order your copy from €39.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
