GC2022: Wyrdsong, an open-world RPG announced by former developers from Bethesda and Obisidian

Something Wicked Games was therefore founded by Jeff Gardiner, a former developer at Bethesda having worked on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Fallout 3, 4 and 76but also by Charles Staples, who was before that at Obsidian Entertainment to work on The Outer Worlds and Fallout: New Vegas. The studio is also made up of other former members of Bethesda, Obsidian, 343 Industries and even BioWareand its first Wyrdsong title will be an open-world role-playing gamethere is enough to make your mouth water!

wyrdsong will take us to a fictionalized version of Portugal, in the Middle Ages. A dark universe that still remains very mysterious, but we can already expect many quests, mechanics of RPG and fights. Jeff Gardiner evokes a questioning of reality with an ambiguous narrator, choices that will have consequences, supernatural elements and even Templar-inspired conspiracies.

However, you will have to be patient, Wyrdsong is currently only in pre-alpha versiondevelopment continues under theUnreal Engine 5. So we don’t have any release date, or even platform.
