How is the VR industry developing? This is the question that the GDC tries to answer through an annual survey.. As a reminder, the Game Developers Conference is, as its name suggests, the world’s largest video game conference for our dev friends.
No less than 2,300 respondents took part in the survey entitled “ State of the Game Industry “. This begins by defining the state of play of VR and AR, indicating that she remains still far from exceeding its “niche” status. Outside of VR, in broader video game development, the PC remains the most popular platform, followed by the PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles.
