GE: advice from GE Vernova and GE Aerospace revealed


(CercleFinance.com) – GE unveiled on Tuesday the composition of the future boards of directors of GE Vernova and GE Aerospace, the two independent companies which will emerge following its proposed spin-off, the finalization of which is expected at the start of the second quarter 2024.

At GE Vernova, its branch specializing in the energy sector, the board of directors will be made up of nine members and chaired by Stephen Angel, the former boss of the industrial gas manufacturer Linde.

Also on the board will be Scott Strazik, the CEO of GE Vernova, Arnold Donald, the former CEO of the cruise line Carnival, Jesus Malave, the current CFO of Lockheed Martin and Jessica Uhl, the former CFO of Shell.

On the side of GE Aerospace, the chairmanship of the board of directors will be ensured by Lawrence Culp, Jr., the current CEO of GE, who will be supported by nine directors including prestigious names like Thomas Enders, the former general manager of Airbus and EADS, or Sébastien Bazin, the current CEO of AccorHotels.
