GE: ‘historic’ memorandum of understanding with HAL in India


(CercleFinance.com) – GE announces that its GE Aerospace division has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the production of fighter aircraft engines for the Air Force Indian.

The agreement includes potential joint production of GE Aerospace’s F414 engines in India. GE Aerospace is also working with the United States government to obtain the necessary export authorizations for this project, which is part of the Air Force’s Mk2 light combat aircraft program. Indian.
