GE: will equip an 18 MW wind farm in Lithuania


(CercleFinance.com) – GE announces that its Renewable Energy division has been selected by Inikti, a Lithuanian electricity supplier, to equip an 18 MW wind farm in Otada, Lithuania, located in the south-west of the country .

The wind farm developer and investor, Inikti, will operate four 5.5 MW GE turbines decommissioned to 4.5 MW.

The installation of the wind turbines on the project site will take place in the third quarter of 2023.

With this 18 MW project, GE’s total installed onshore wind capacity in Lithuania will reach nearly 500 MW by the end of 2023.
