In September 2021, a leak from the GeForce Now service caused quite a stir. Indeed, this was a large list of unannounced games. Since then, several titles have been announced by their developers, which helps give credit to this leak in retrospect.

The escape

Obviously, Nvidia had reacted to this leak by indicating that it was a list of ” published and/or speculative securities, used only for monitoring and internal testing “. The brand then quickly corrected the flaw allowing access to the list, but too late to prevent Internet users from making a copy.

Several months after the leak, it is interesting to look back on the list.

games confirmed

Here are the games that were on this September 2021 list and have since been confirmed by the license publisher or developer.

  • Chrono Cross Remaster
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake (PC)
  • Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Edition
  • God of War (PC)
  • GTA Trilogy Remaster
  • Crysis 4
  • Sniper Elite 5
  • Kingdom Hearts 4
  • street fighter 6
  • Tactics Ogre Remaster

It should be noted that if we could judge certain titles probable, such as the release of FF7 Remake Where god of warlong-awaited on PC, others were much more unexpected like Crysis 4which CryTek has just confirmed in development, or Chrono Cross Remasterconfirmed during a Nintendo Direct.

The unannounced games from the leak

With so many games that have since been confirmed, it becomes interesting to look at the rest of the list and see what’s left to discover.

  • Half Life 2 Remastered
  • Final Fantasy 9 Remake
  • Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
  • Bioshock 2022
  • Bioshock RTX Remaster
  • XCOM 3
  • Mirror’s Edge RTX Remaster

  • Dragon’s Dogma 2
  • Monster Hunter 6
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake

It should be noted that some games on this list are unlikely. This is particularly the case of XCOM 3while the Firaxis studio is at work on Marvel’s Midnight Suns or of titanfall 3 while the Respawn studio is hard at work on several Star Wars games. Conversely, let us remember that rumors are multiplying around Resident Evil 4 Remake since several weeks. A remastered version ofHalf Life 2might make sense from Valve as the Steam Deck is set to release.
