Whether you’ve owned Valve’s portable console for a long time or have recently taken advantage of the return of refurbished models, the Steam Deck is particularly interesting to use through Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service. This notably allows you to benefit from solid performance and graphics through machines in the cloud rather than through the console itself. Unfortunately, setting up this service can be a bit tedious. Fortunately, the manufacturer has just launched a new simplified configuration method, accompanied by no less than 24 new games.

Simplified installation on Steam Deck

Nvidia’s new installation method (in beta) is actually a script. The latter automatically installs the Google Chrome browser on the Steam Deck, then adds the necessary settings to support subscribers until connecting to GeForce Now.

Thanks to last week’s GeForce Now update, it’s also possible to navigate the service on a web browser with a controller. Including a Steam Deck. Enough to find and launch games in the cloud more easily, whether they come from Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox (including Game Pass) or even Ubisoft Connect.
