The information follows and resembles each other for what risks becoming a new reference in the world of Graphic card.

Long before the publication of its test, the GeForce RTX 4090 had had its share of various and varied leaks. No reason therefore that it should not be the same with the little sister, RTX 4080.

22,530 points on 3DMark TimeSpy

Relayed by Videocardz, the leaks come to us from MEGAsizeGPU which has already shown itself recently and does not seem to have to slow down. So this time it’s 3DMark TimeSpy results.

The GeForce RTX 4080 would thus be able to reach 22,530 points on the basic version of said scene while it would still display 11,131 points on TimeSpy Extreme.

If these values of course need to be confirmed, they are “in the nails” and correspond almost perfectly to what it had been possible to imagine with the previous leaks.

Up to 2508 MHz in boost?

Of course, there is no question of competing with the GeForce RTX 4090, but if these values are confirmed, they will make the RTX 4080 a very powerful card, well above the competition… pending the release of the Radeon RX 7900XTX and 7900XT.

Let’s take this opportunity to remember that the RTX 4080 is designed around an AD103 GPU with 9,728 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR6X video memory at 22.4 Gbps on a 256-bit bus. Features that put the RTX 4080 clearly ahead of the RTX 3090 Ti.

Finally, note that contradictory information reaches us about the maximum boost frequency that this RTX 4080 can reach: here, it is given for 2,508 MHz and there for 2,900 MHz. Information to be checked at the time of the test therefore.
