GeForce RTX: tired of looking for a graphics card? Nvidia has the solution

To make it easier for its customers looking to acquire one of the latest GeForce RTX 3000s, Nvidia has just launched a brand new platform. Called Restocked and Reloaded, it presents itself as an aggregator of the best offers of the moment around the brand’s latest GPUs. The list of products displayed will be updated weekly according to Nvidia’s statements.

We don’t tell you anything, with the current shortage of semiconductors, many players in the high-tech and automotive industries are having great difficulty sourcing components. As a result, production is slowed down and certain products in particular demand such as the PS5, the Xbox Series X or the latest Nvidia GPUs are available in dribs and drabs.

And of course, this rarity translates into a surge in prices, practiced both by partner resellers and especially by scalpers who pounce on the few available copies to then resell them at exorbitant prices. On his side, Nvidia did try to remedy the situationnotably releasing a reissue of the GeForce RTX 2060 with 12 GB of RAM this time.

The arrival of the GeForce RTX 3050 at the start of 2022 was also synonymous with hope for gamers, but unfortunately, the entry-level GPU very quickly found itself at astronomical prices on the web, sometimes displayed over €550. We are far from the 279 € requested by the manufacturer. Even so, Nvidia has promised that there will be more RTX 3000 stock by July 2022.

Nvidia wants to help gamers find an RTX 3000 at the best price

In the meantime, the green team has decided to act to facilitate the search for players. Indeed, Nvidia announces this Thursday, April 14, 2022 the launch of a new platform called Restocked and Reloaded. The principle is simple: this platform serves aggregator and lists the best offers available on the web.

Nvidia explains that it has worked with its partners to easily locate the best prices on the market. Be careful though, don’t expect to find GeForce 3080s at the manufacturer’s price, but the prices displayed are much more reasonable than those found everywhere. Here are some examples of the products offered by Nvidia on its new platform:

  • EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB SC Gaming at €379.90
  • ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 OC at €449.00
  • Gygabyte GeForce RTX 30710 Ti Gaming OC at €809.99
  • Aether Powered by Asus gaming PC (RTX 3050, SoC i5-10400F, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 500 GB NVMe SSD) at €899
  • MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio at €1459.99

According to Nvidia, the list of offers will be updated weekly, more precisely every Thursday in the middle of the afternoon. It only remains to hope that the offers are more interesting in the coming weeks. There is nothing to jump to the ceiling for the moment, it must be recognized. But the initiative is always good to take, isn’t it?
