Gen V: Chance Perdomo dies in an accident, production of season 2 postponed


Chance Perdomo died this weekend in a motorcycle accident that did not involve anyone else. The 27-year-old actor was on his way to Toronto, where production of the Prime Video series Gen V was to resume today.

A devastating loss

The webzine Deadline evokes the shock linked to this tragic news and reports that the production of season 2 of Gen Vspin-off of The Boys in which the actor played one of the main roles, is postponed for an indefinite period.

Once the producers and writers of the series have been able to mourn the loss of Perdomo, they will be faced with a difficult choice: rewrite the season without the character of Andre Anderson, or assign the role to a new actor.

In Gen V, Perdomo opposite Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips and London Thor. The actors of the series have also shared on X their emotion following his death :

“Our hearts go out to Chance’s loved ones as we mourn this shocking loss. We will remember the special times we spent together, his infectious smile that could light up any room, his warm hugs and genuine which he always demonstrated. Rest in peace dear friend, we will miss you very much.”

Before being in the casting of Gen VChance Perdomo made himself known in the series The New Adventures of Sabrinaon Netflix, where he played Ambrose Spellman.
