General meeting in Hallein – fuss about house sales – official director dismissed

There was a lot going on on Thursday evening at the meeting of the Hallein community representatives. The focus: on the one hand, the planned sale of an old town house and, on the other hand, the dismissal of the official director.

Mayor Alexander Stangassinger (SPÖ) actually wanted to resolve the sale of the community-owned house at Oberhofgasse 3. The best bidder after a multi-stage selection process was Hallinum GmbH with 521,000 euros. It belongs to a builder and the SPÖ member of the state parliament, Roland Meisl. This pissed off the other groups angry, they located “lack of transparency”. As a result, there was no majority for the sale decision.

On the other hand, the decision has been taken to dismiss official director Erich Angerer. There is now an “amicable solution” after all. Angerer remains in the municipal administration and is transferred – unless he objects to it.
