Genomic Vision: a platform with a subsidiary of Capgemini

(CercleFinance.com) – Genomic Vision is gaining ground on the Paris Stock Exchange on Monday following the announcement of a project to develop a technological platform with a subsidiary of Capgemini.

The biotechnology company announces that it has selected product development and technology consultancy Cambridge Consultants to design a next-generation platform dedicated to the analysis of structural and functional changes in the genome.

The idea, according to Genomic, will consist in imagining a fully integrated system, ranging from the preparation of the DNA sample to image analysis, driven by artificial intelligence software in order to obtain a smooth and automated work process.

Quoted in a press release, Eric Wilkinson, the CEO of Cambridge Consultants, describes as ‘impressive’ the technology and applications of Genomic in the structural and functional analysis of genome modifications, proprietary tools based on the technology of combing the DNA.

After gaining almost 15% at the very start of the session, the Genomic Vision share slowed down a bit and gained 5.8% at the end of the morning in the wake of these announcements.
