The traditional presentation live is making a comeback and this time it’s version 2.7 scheduled for 31 myi which is in the spotlight. After many adventures, this update to bring new heroines, Kuki and Yelan, finally arrives on Genshin Impact. We invite you to come back to the essential information of the special program that took place today.
Characters
In this update, we will find the following characters:
Yelan, the new 5-star Hydro
Yelan is the owner of a tea house and it is a DPS Hydro using a bow. His burst will allow him to summon a dice and seems to work like a certain Xingqiu’s unleash. Thanks to her passive, she will increase her damage as long as the die remains. She will also have from charged arrows that will work a bit like Ganyu’s. In the end, she seems like a pretty interesting DPS although we have to wait until we know all the details about her before drawing a conclusion.
Kuki Shinobu, the new 4-star character
The real ninja of the game is now there and it is in 2.7 that it will be possible to test it. Shinobu is a 4-star rarity Electro character. His role within your team will be that of support. His kit seems really interesting at first glance sinceshe will be able to heal, inflict a lot of damage and also place an Electro zone which seems to remain even if she is not on the field. We will have to see once in game if all this works correctly. If so, it could become a really interesting Electro support to play.
Banners
As for the wishes, we will have three different ones for the characters.
- The first banner will be dedicated to Yelan
- The second banner will be the one available for Xiao
- The third banner will allow us to find Itto. Kuki Shinobu will also be introduced in this one.
In addition to these wishes, you will be able to summon weapons thanks to the Divine Incarnation which will allow you to have the new 5-star bow which will be very useful if you want to play Yelan.
New quests
The arrival of new characters is an opportunity for miHoYo to extend the lore of the game by offering us story quests based on certain heroes. In the case of version 2.7, it is the story of Yelan that will be told to us. In addition to this quest, we will have the right to the first part of Kuki Shinobu’s escapades which will also allow you to learn more about this mysterious character.
You may have expected it, but the continuation of your adventures in Teyvat arrives in 2.7 and it will feature you in the company of old acquaintances like Yanfei or Xiao, but also new faces like Yelan.
The events
The major event of version 2.7 will be called “Precious Trail” and it will allow you toget a new 4-star rarity bow. Of course, you can collect everything you need to improve it, but also a Crown of Wisdom that should not be overlooked. In this one, you will return to the Chasm to investigate a new mystery.
We were able to see part of the course of this event and you may not necessarily like it if you are rather a beginner or still low level since you will have to fight enemies through various challenges while knowing that your characters will gradually become unusable later on for this game.
The second event shown in the live is the one that will ask you to fight against enemies that can be boosted by miasma. You will therefore have to beat them to succeed in the challenges that will be offered to you and thus obtain rewards.
A new event in which you will have to do a rhythm mini-game. This time, it will rather be played the Guitar Hero using specific keys to activate the notes where other events of the genre were content to ask you to press a single key or two at most. You will be able to obtain a new instrument thanks to the latterr.
The last event offered, you will be able to create a robot by researching resources to create furniture through this machine.
Interesting optimizations coming in 2.7
In this live, we were able to see some optimizations that will come later with version 2.7. The first concerns the abilities of your characters. You will now be able to know the order of importance of each of them and therefore know which one to prioritize with your Crowns of Wisdom. The second point discussed and which will also please you, is theaddition of recommended statistics in the Artifacts section of your heroes. You will now know how to play them directly through the game. The last point concerns the difficult levels of the dungeons where you can now see the characteristics of the challenges.
Genshin Impact OST and Collaboration
In this live, miHoYo presented the new collaboration with Funko Pop but also the new OST of the game. An opportunity for fans to listen to music from their favorite title or to obtain additional goodies.
