More than an update, Genshin Impact 3.0 opens a new chapter in miHoYo’s game. The vast region of Sumeru will be discovered through it, and the unique attribute of Dendro will enrich the game with several additional synergies. Not to mention a slew of new characters cleverly designed by miHoyo to play on our heartstrings and make us snap all our primes!
What day and what time is patch 3.0 coming out?
Genshin Impact update 3.0 will be released on Wednesday, August 24. The servers will be unavailable at 00:00, and a maintenance period will follow, which is estimated to last between 5 and 6 hours, at best. Therefore, Patch 3.0 content will only be playable at 5 a.m. on August 24, in Europe.
3.0 characters and banners
We already know most of the information about the banners of 3.0. As usual, the patch will be divided into two distinct phases: one from August 24 to September 10, and the other from September 10 and until the end of 3.0. Here are the banners known to date:

The Dendro Element

The trailers present it mostly as a green country, but Sumeru is a region that is shared between forest and desert. But this region is eaten away by a mysterious evil, which leaves deep scars (the Siccites) in the verdant landscapes.
This new region will be riddled with traps and puzzles to solve, and inhabited by previously unknown races of monsters.
New weapons
The Verdant Walker will lead the very first banner in the Sumeru patch. As the first Dendro character to see the light of day, he therefore deserves special attention, at the dawn of this famous version 3.0.
