Genshin Impact 3.1: redeem code and free primogems with the patch announcement live!

Did you start going around in circles in the verdant forests of Sumeru on Genshin Impact? Don’t worry: exploring the region’s desert lands isn’t far away. Hoyoverse has finally unveiled the date on which the traditional update presentation livestream will be held. It is therefore this friday september 16 2022 that you will have to be ready to discover the preview of the highly anticipated patch 3.1. As usual, two time slots are deployed by the publisher, depending on whether you are a viewer on Twitch or YouTube.

What time does the live start?

The special version 3.1 announcement program will take place over two time slots.

  • Friday, September 16 at 2 p.m. on Twitch
  • Friday, September 16 at 6 p.m. on YouTube

Why watch this live?

Update preview broadcasts are something of a tradition in Genshin Impact. Through them, miHoyo officially unveils the contents of the next patch (characters, regions, features, lore…).

But the real reason for the popularity of these streams is above all the large package of primogems that there is to recover via the redeem codes, regularly revealed by the publisher over the live. Rest assured: these codes remain active for several days after the date of the livestream, so you can enjoy them, even if you missed the announcements on YouTube and Twitch.

When is patch 3.1 coming out?

Unless otherwise postponed by miHoyo, version 3.1 of Genshin Impact will be playable from Wednesday September 28, 2022. This inaugural livestream of 3.1 therefore occurs twelve days before the deployment of the patch.

Sublimating the model of microtransactions, the gatcha game often has a reputation as a pernicious money pump. But despite rather cruel drop rates, Genshin Impact stands out thanks to its transparent and frank “pity”. Is miHoyo’s game the model student in the land of gatchas?
