With a broadcast of almost an hour, Genshin Impact presented the main lines of its next version 3.1. But not only ! The publisher also took the opportunity to give us some tantalizing clues about the history of Teyvat, but also to start raising the hype, before the game’s second anniversary festivities. Finally, Hoyoverse gave a quick update on its ongoing Genshin Impact projects. And with a TCG and an anime planned, as much to tell you that this livestream has given us plenty of peepers.

The live also served as a showcase for the three new characters that will appear in patch 3.1: Cyno, Nilou and Candace. We therefore had confirmation of the order of appearance of the new characters as well as the reissues:
- Phase 1: Cyno Banner + Venti Banner (Candace in both banners)
- Phase 2: Niou Banner + Albedo Banner
As a reminder, each version is divided into two halves (phase 1 and phase 2).

At the end of the livestream, the developers confirmed that they are working on a “long-term” Genshin Impact anime project.
And to produce this work, Hoyoverse did not choose just anyone, since it is the Ufotable studio which will be in charge of the animation.
