Released in 2020 on PS4, PC and smartphones, Genshin Impact was entitled to a port on PS5 in 2021. Since its official launch, the miHoYo studio has been working on the title in order to bring new content and events, via regular updates. On this subject, miHoYo recently revealed initial information concerning upcoming events, via Genshin Impact 2.8 Part 2.
According to the latest details shared, especially in a recent article on Hoyolab.com, players will be able to experience several events on Genshin Impact next month. First of all, from August 2 to August 23, the drop rate for several characters and weapons will be significantly increased. The characters concerned are: Yoimiya, Bennet, Xinyan and Yun Jin. The weapons, the drop rate of which will be boosted, are as follows: “Thunder Pulse (Bow)”, “Spine Cutter (One-Handed Sword)”, “Wines and Songs (Catalyst)”, “Stalker of Dead Ends (Bow)”, “Flute (One-Handed Sword)”, “Ritual Greatsword (Two-Handed Sword)”, and “Dragon’s Bane (Polearm)”.
The “Reminiscent Exercise” event will be available from August 4 on Genshin Impact. Thus, until August 15, several challenges will be available on the Golden Apple Archipelago. By completing them, players will get points to recover ” Prime Gems, Hero’s Lessons, Skill Enhancement Materials, Moras ” and many others. To participate in this event, you must have completed the quest “Summer stay at the sea – 1” and be adventure level 32 or higher.
From August 12 to 22, a second event will be offered. This is the “Perpetual Mechanical Frame” event that will invite Genshin Impact players to help Félix Yogue, a member of the Court of Fontaine. By accomplishing the different objectives, it will then be possible to obtain ” primo gems decoration, hero’s lessons, weapon upgrade materials, moras », and other awards. The conditions for participation are as follows: having completed the quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” and being of adventure level 18 or higher.
