No one has yet managed to dethrone Genshin Impact, which has just rewarded its fans with an announcement that they have been waiting for over two years…
Genshin Impact quickly established itself as the juggernaut of free RPGs. With its numerous characters and regular updates, the Chinese software has created a real community, without ever losing momentum since its release in 2020. Since then, Mihoyo has admitted to having content planned for at least a decade. This April, Genshin Impact will hit its 4.6 update and fans are over the moon, as the studio has confirmed what they have been waiting for for two years.
Genshin Impact presents the first enforcer
Remember in July 2022: a trailer for Genshin Impact caused a lot of noise within the community. There we saw for the first time several antagonists gathered around a table: the eleven Fatui executioners. For Mihoyo, this trailer was very unusual, because usually, the group focuses more on the upcoming update and its events, and not on a part of the story that is still distant. Additionally, the studio has a habit of introducing its characters and then making them available in the coming months.
This has never happened with this organization. The only exception is Tartaglia, who was presented well in advance and well before this mysterious group. However, here it is, after two years of waiting, the first member of the executors finally makes his entrance: Arlecchino. On the official Genshin Impact account, we learn a little more about Arlecchino, who recently became the central character of the main quest.
Who is Arlecchino?
She is known as the director of the La Maison du Foyer orphanage in the Fontaine region. It’s a title, as she won by becoming the new Knave of the Executioners organization, after defeating the old one. We know that she is called “Father” by the members of the house, who are her “children”. Among them, we find Lyney, Lynette and Freminet. Regarding her abilities, she will be a 5-star Pyro unit. This is a first in Genshin Impact since Liney in 4.0.
For the rest, we know neither his weapon nor his combat capabilities. Also for the moment, it is impossible to know who accompanies him on the summon banner, but it seems that he is the only new character of the season. In the meantime, Genshin Impact invites you to discover update 4.5, which will feature Tiori (new Geo character), and will mark the return of Arataki Itto.
