Genshin Impact patch 3.0 already resonates like a good vintage with fans of miHoyo’s game, but the Sumeru region still holds many secrets. While patch 3.0 immerses us in the jungle of Sumeru, with characters Dendro focused on this new form of green magic, the other half of the territory, described as desert, is much more discreet.
Normal: most of Sumeru is still to be discovered, first with patch 3.1 scheduled for September 28, then via subsequent updates. According to dataminers Mero and Ubatchaworld famous, the area currently accessible to Sumeru is only the tip of the iceberg.
The desert added with 3.1
Genshin Impact patch 3.1 is not just a small update that follows the kickoff of this new Sumerian chapter. 3.1 will also be a real juggernaut of content. Along with Candace, Cyno, and Nilou featuring new banners, a vast desert area will open up to explorers in this patch alone.
1/3 of the map remains completely unexplored
Once 100% complete, the Sumeru region will be arguably the largest in mihoyo’s RPG history. Ubatcha explains that after the implementation of the 3.1 desert on September 28, there will STILL be 31% of the surface of Sumeru to be discovered later.
We let you imagine the mysteries and secrets that the developers will have time to hide in this immense wild territory.
