Genshin Impact: Update 3.4, patch notes and update details

This January 18, 2023, Genshin Impact Players Welcome Version 3.4 Through New Update. If you haven’t followed the news in recent days around the title, several new features have been introduced, such as playable characters, quests, dungeons or even events, to name just a few examples.

System

• In “Mystical Offering”, selected artifacts will not be erased after switching reliquary. Added a second confirmation message when selecting already empowered artifacts in “Mystical Offering”.
• Optimized the criteria for sorting artifacts in “Mystical Offering”.
  • You can now select multiple artifacts by swiping in “Mystical Offering”.

Audio

• Optimized some sound effects of the effects of certain elemental reactions of Summon Seven.
• Adjusted the broadcast logic when weather related replicas and idle replicas trigger at the same time.

Characters

• Optimized the appearance of Yelan’s hand model.
• Adjusted the appearance of Dori’s leg on her character artwork.

Summoning of the Seven

• Added the ability to end a round in controller mode in Summon Seven (with DualSense or DualShock 4 wireless controllers) by holding down the cross on PC and PS4 and the circle on PS5 while the cursor is in mode floating.
• Added new messages when using a controller for the L1 and R1 buttons (with DualSense or DualShock 4 wireless controllers).
• Adjusted the number of charges, the number of elemental dice needed and the DMG inflicted by the elemental unleashing of the character card “Yoimiya” in the Summon of the Seven: the charges changed from 2 to 3, the Pyro dice needed changed from 3 to 4 and “Deals 3 Pyro DMG…” becomes “Deals 4 Pyro DMG…”.
• Adjusted the DMG inflicted by the elemental skills “Thrilling Blade” and “Frost Assault” of the character card “Oni Blade” in Summon Seven: these two elemental skills will no longer inflict DMG, they will only summon “Shadow Sword: Breeze” and “Shadow Sword: Frost”.
• Adjusted the effects of the “Mint Meat Rolls” event card: This effect can now be triggered a maximum of 3 times.
• Adjusted the number of team deployment state uses of “Catalyst Field” in Summon Seven: decreased from 3 times to 2 times.

• Optimized the appearance of the artwork for some Summon Seven character cards.
• Optimized the display of special effects of obtaining the shield in Summon Seven on mobile.
• Optimized the animations when a new character card joins the game in Summon Seven.

Others

• Adjusted the description of the “A Well-Trained Archaeologist” achievement.
• Adjusted the number of teleport points required to unlock the achievement “Through Sandstorms and Mirages (1)”. The required number is now 27 (from 26 previously). (If you have already unlocked the achievement, its completion status will not change.)
• Adjusted the rules for obtaining Elemental Resonance effects: If your team consists of 4 characters or 4 or more characters with trial characters, Elemental Resonance takes effect normally. The specific effect is determined by the corresponding elements of the 1st to 4th character in the team (before adjustment, the elemental resonance effect did not work if a trial character was present.).
• Removed the second confirmation window for skipping the animation for the second phase of the “Shouki no Kami” boss fight. Now the animation will be skipped directly when you click the button.
• Adjusted the trigger height range of some surprise events.
