The 2.8 update of Genshin Impact is expected by the players. This will bring, as usual, its share of novelties: new characters, quests, events, among others. Moreover, the community wonders from what time it will be possible to play Genshin Impact version 2.8.
What time is Genshin Impact update 2.8 released?
As with previous updates, except 2.7 which was postponed, Genshin Impact version 2.8 will be deployed Wednesday July 13. As was the case the last time, maintenance will start around midnight, French time therefore leaving the servers offline for a few hours. The update will be available for download at this time. For this version 2.8, the duration of server maintenance is estimated at 5 hours, which means that the servers should normally reopen around 5 a.m., if all goes well.
As a reminder, the 2.8 update of Genshin Impact will introduce new content, including story quests and the 4-star character, Heizou. In addition, players will be able to participate in new events and unlock a new outfit for Diluc and Fischl. Update 2.8 pre-download date and time
Know thatit is already possible to pre-download Genshin Impact update 2.8. Indeed, the development studio in charge of Genshin Impact, miHoYo, has made available the functionality allowing the pre-downloading of files, whether on PC or on the mobile version, since May 27. Also, be aware that if you are on PC, you can continue to play during the pre-download. Which is, unfortunately, not the case on smartphones.
