As always with the approach of the deployment of a new update on Genshin Impact, miHoYo, the Chinese studio in charge of its development, unveils several details so that players are ready when it arrives. In this month of March, the Genshin Impact version 2.6 was presented to players via a stream, a few days before its arrival.
When is Genshin Impact update 2.6 coming out?
The information that most interests players is to know when the next Genshin Impact update will be available. Know that we should be able to discover the Genshin Impact version 2.6 and all its content (see below), from the Wednesday, March 30, 2022, after a long server maintenance. This date is not surprising, given that it corresponds to the six-week cycle that spaces the game updates since its launch in September 2020.
Update 2.6 Content Preview
Regarding the new features brought by this update, miHoYo has obviously already revealed them. If you want to know what’s coming in March, here’s a quick summary:
- The Chasm, a new area to explore. Although closed following several mysterious accidents, you can still get there by joining a team of experts.
- The character Kamisato Ayato, a chef capable of obtaining an additional suspicious dish of the same type when cooking. On the combat side, the latter wields a sword and is an expert in the Tachi Jutsu of the Kamisato school.
- Kamisato Ayaka, Ayato’s brother, will arrive later in April through a special event.
- Two new artifact sets will also be introduced with this update.
