US actor and "Denver Clan" star Geoffrey Scott died of Parkinson's the day after his birthday. He was 79 years old.

US actor Geoffrey Scott (1942-2021) died of Parkinson's on February 23 – one day after his 79th birthday (February 22) – in Broomfield, Colorado. This was confirmed by his wife, Cheri Catherine Scott, "The Hollywood Reporter".

He starred in 45 episodes of the ABC primetime soap "The Denver Clan" (1981-1989) from 1982 to 1985 as professional tennis player Mark Jennings and the first husband of Krystle Carrington (Linda Evans, 78).

Geoffrey Scott had retired after 45 years in show business and moved to Colorado with his family. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind twin sons Christopher and Matthew.
