George, Charlotte and Louis pay homage to Diana

This March 14, the UK celebrates moms. Kate and William have unveiled a tender tradition that they do each year with George, Charlotte and Louis: to pay homage to Diana, their grandmother they never knew.

In the United Kingdom, Mother's Day takes place this Sunday, March 14, 2021. On their Instagram account, Kate and William celebrated this special day by writing: "This year Mother's Day will be different again. Many of us will be separated from loved ones, looking to the near future when we can hug our mom again." They then unveiled the tradition they had set up with their child to pay homage to Princess Diana, the mother of the Duke of Cambridge.

"For those who experience grief, this day can be particularly difficult", explain Kate Middleton and Prince William. This is the case of the latter, who lost his mother when he was only 15 years old. This is why her children pay homage to the Princess of Wales on this special day. "Every year for Mother's Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards in memory of their Granny, Diana, for William", tell the Duke and the Duchess.

We can then see the drawings made by the young princes and the princess. "Dear Granny Diana, happy, happy mother's day. I love you very much and think about you all the time. I send you a lot of love Granny. Kisses, George", wrote the elder on the back of a pretty landscape. For her part, Charlotte drew a pretty heart and stuck stickers around it. "Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you for Mother's Day. I love you very much, dad miss you. With much love, Charlotte". As for Louis, still a little young to write a long text, wrote his first name on a green sheet. It is decorated with a heart painted by him and pretty stickers. Adorable!
