George Clooney: The Hollywood star is finally back

George Clooney has not been seen for a long time, but now the Hollywood star is said to have an appearance at a charity gala.

In February he finished shooting the film "The Midnight Sky", since then there has been little to see of George Clooney (59). Together with his wife Amal (42) and the twins Alexander and Ella (3), the Hollywood star withdrew during the corona lockdown. The actor will be back on October 10th at the latest. He is to appear at the virtual gala "The Carousel Of Hope Ball", which is used to collect donations for diabetes research. There are also Oprah Winfrey, Tony Bennett, Andrea Bocelli, Joan Collins, Robert De Niro and Jane Fonda, among others.

Clooney has not appeared in public for a long time: In May 2019, the actor and his wife took part in a "Catch-22" party in London. In the series, he not only took on a role, but also directed. The last big film he was in front of the camera was "Money Monster" from 2016, in which he starred alongside Julia Roberts (52). His Netflix film "The Midnight Sky", a science fiction film with Felicity Jones (36), is currently in post-production. Here, too, he worked as an actor and director.

In July there were also reports that Clooney's next project as a director could be the film adaptation of J. R. Moehringer's memoir, "The Tender Bar".
