Singer George Michael died more than six years ago at the age of 53. Now Andrew Ridgeley has reminisced about the last time he met his “Wham!” bandmate and friend.

George Michael suffered from heart problems
On December 25, 2016, George Michael was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England. His partner at the time, Fadi Fawaz, 50, discovered him. The sudden death of the pop musician initially raised questions: A first autopsy led to “inconclusive results”. Further investigation ultimately determined that George Michael had died of natural causes. Accordingly, the “Freedom” singer suffered from heart problems and fatty liver. George Michael is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.
