The adventures of Captain Marleau are back, this Friday, April 1 from 9:05 p.m. on France 3. And for the 4th episode of this 4th season, entitled The Burning Manthe series welcomes a guest: it is about Gerard Darmon. For the occasion, the actor granted an interview in the columns of TV Star and he explains there how he arrived in the series. “If I understood correctly, it’s Corinne (Editor’s note: Corinne Masiero, the actress who plays Captain Marleau) who asked to work with me“, reports the 74-year-old actor. And to add: “It even seems that this is the first time that she has made such a request to Josée Dayan (note: the director of the series).“
A request that Gérard Darmon obviously could not refuse: “I accepted with pleasure”, he confirms. And he was not disappointed when he met Corinne Masiero : “I discovered an absolutely extraordinary woman, an actress who I believe is still underemployed.” At his side, the actor, who suffered from depression, plays Frédéric Lefranc, a man devastated by the death of the one he loves.
