INTERVIEW – In thirty-five years, the CEO of Loxam has transformed an SME into an international group.

Gérard Déprez’s trajectory is inseparable from the history of Loxam. This subsidiary of Lyonnaise des eaux based in Brittany has become the world number four in the rental of industrial machinery, with a thousand agencies around the world and 2.2 billion euros in turnover in 2021. “A capital-intensive service activity”sums up the one who now owns more than 80% of the capital and who is pleased that 93% of employees hold a permanent contract.
