Gérard Louvin and her husband Daniel Moyne were accused of raping minors. On Monday April 4, the justice dismissed the case without further action. A decision that would have been recorded at the beginning of the year.
This is a real relief for Gerard Louvin and her husband Daniel Moyne. In fact, the spouses were accused of rape of minors. Something they have always denied. It was the Paris prosecutor’s office that opened the two investigations in January and August 2021. It is this same Court which closed the case without further action, according to theAFP on Monday, April 4, 2022. Sources familiar with the matter say this decision was enacted last Januaryaccording to Pure People.
The dismissal of the first investigation is due to the prescription of the alleged facts. Concerning the second investigation, the reason for the classification is a “insufficiently characterized offense“. It goes without saying that this is a big victory for the lawyers of the two men. “It’s just application of the criminal law, it’s quite normal that Gerard Louvin be completely exonerated by French justice”, confided Christophe Ayela, his lawyer. “It’s a victory. Justice has been served, it’s a great relief, it’s been a long and painful procedure for my client. We are happy to have trusted our legal system, because today, their honor is washed,” confided, for her part, Céline Bekerman, lawyer for Daniel Moyne.
Paid sex parties with minors
It is in January 2021 that Gérard Louvin’s nephew has filed a complaint against his uncle, thus opening this case. Olivier, the nephew, had notably accused him of having “favored the rapes of which he was allegedly the victim in the 1980s by Daniel Moyne”according to Pure People. Several other complaints for rape and sexual assault later came against the couple.
At the beginning of August 2021, another investigation was opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office. The reason being “rape of minors“ following indirect testimony against the two men. They were notably accused of having organized “paid sex parties with minors from the favelas” in 2004, in Brazil.
