Gérard Miller: A second complaint for “sexual assault” filed against the psychoanalyst

Mainly known for his participation in various television and radio shows, Gérard Miller is now in turmoil. Indeed, many women accuse the famous psychoanalyst of rape and sexual assault in testimonies which were relayed by the magazine SHE and the Mediapart information site. One of them even decided to file a complaint against Gérard Miller. It was in 1995 that the facts described by the complainant took place, when he was her professor of psychoanalysis at the University of Paris 8. Concretely, she accuses him of having kissed her by surprise. From, another complaint for acts of sexual assault was filed. According to information revealed by the magazine SHE, a woman presented herself at a Parisian police station on Friday February 16, 2024, in order to launch legal action against the famous psychoanalyst.

Only 15 years old at the time of the events she describes, this second complainant was attending a high school at the time which was located just a stone’s throw from the Moulin Rouge, where certain shows in which Gérard Miller participated were recorded. It was while passing in front of the recording studio that she was recruited to come and sit in the audience of the cult show We tried everything, of which the psychoanalyst was one of the faces. The complainant was then allegedly approached by Gérard Miller during the filming of the talk show. He then allegedly offered her tickets to see a show, before inviting her to lunch with him: “My parents knew, I felt safe. At the time, I was in therapy, everything related to psychoanalysis interested me“, she indicated in her complaint.

A “black hole” mentioned by the complainant

The latter would have first shown him around his home, before offering him tea: “From there, it’s a black hole. When I wake up, I’m lying in a bed upstairs, on my stomach, in my underwear, with my pants pulled down to my ankles. He massages my back, buttocks, and also my breasts, passing his hands under my torso. I’m in a panic, I’m very scared, he says to me: ‘Relax, you’re super tense’“, she said. She finally took advantage of the arrival of an unexpected visitor to leave.

Gérard Miller remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the case is closed.
