BERLIN, July 12 (Reuters) – Investor sentiment in Germany has deteriorated much more than expected since the beginning of July, a survey by the ZEW economic research institute showed on Tuesday.
The index measuring investor sentiment fell to -53.8 after -28.0 in June, while economists and analysts polled by Reuters on average expected a decline to -38.3.
The Investor Judgment of the Current Situation sub-index fell back to -45.8 from -27.6 last month. The Reuters consensus gave it at -34.5. (Berlin office, French version Marc Angrand)
