BERLIN, Nov 15 (Reuters) – Investor sentiment in Germany has improved markedly since the start of November, a survey by the ZEW economic research institute released on Tuesday showed.
The ZEW index rose to -36.7 from -59.2 in October, while economists and analysts polled by Reuters had on average expected -50.0.
The Investor Judgment of the Current Situation sub-index also improved more than expected to -64.5 from -72.2 last month. The Reuters consensus gave it at -68.4. (Report Miranda Murray; French version Claude Chendjou, edited by Kate Entringer)
