BERLIN, May 10 (Reuters) – Investor sentiment in Germany has improved since the beginning of May, a survey by the ZEW economic research institute showed on Tuesday.

The index measuring investor sentiment rose to -34.3 from -41.0 in April as economists and analysts polled by Reuters had expected a further decline to -42.0.

The sub-index of investors’ judgment of the current situation, however, fell to -36.5 after -30.8 last month. The Reuters consensus had it at -35.0. (Berlin office, French version Marc Angrand, edited by Sophie Louet)
