Germany's next top model: candidates remain in Europe for the coming season

Due to the corona pandemic, "Germany's next top model" will be called "Made in Europe" for the first time for the upcoming 16th season.

Normally, Heidi Klums (47) young models jet around the world while recording "Germany's next top model". For the upcoming 16th season, however, will be filmed exclusively in Europe for the first time, as ProSieben has now announced. This has never happened before.

The show should be "safe, but of course also entertaining"

Klum also had a say in the station's press release. She is already looking forward to the upcoming search for the next "GNTM" winner. "Even if 2020 is a year with an extremely high number of obstacles, I think it's great that our top model fans can accompany me on my journey to the winner again," explains the model mom. Together with the team, she will "do everything to make the trip safe, but of course also entertaining".

Klum can already promise that the fans will not have to do without the many shootings, famous photographers and star guests either. Daniel Rosemann, head of the ProSieben broadcaster, also confirms: "The health and safety of our # GNTM candidates are our top priority." With the shoot in Europe one can "react quickly to the current situation".
