Germany's next top model: cowgirls in the wild west and lip-syncing pop queens

In the new episode of "Germany's next top model", the twelve remaining candidates got down to business. A stunt team visited the top model candidates in their villa in Los Angeles and trained with them for a particularly wild adventure – except for Vivian (21), who has not been well over the past few days and therefore had to take a break from coaching. The girls received a trained stunt training session from two professionals, as a video shoot in the Wild West was pending. In addition to the action scenes, there was a kind of script with a text that the girls had to memorize in no time.

Lijana vs. Maribel

Among the teams that were drawn, there was a pairing with the ambitious Lijana (23) and the supposedly leisurely Maribel (23). Lijana immediately put pressure on Maribel: "If she is in a team with me, she will practice. All the time until it fits perfectly" – the big argument was already inevitable.

The shooting took place in a real film set in Los Angeles, directed by the Austrian photographer Mario Schmolka (45). Since acting skills are now also a basic requirement for jobs in commercials in the model business, the demands on the women during the shoot were very high. Heidi Klum (46) thought so too and asked her girls to do the "Shoot, Stunt and Improvisation" video shoot.

Showdown in the wild west

In "The Great Make-Up Scandal" there was a showdown between Larissa (19) and her counterpart Tamara (19). In a one-take, the two blondes actually fought a clean duel duel with frying pan slashes and broken bottles on their heads. In the next round, Lijana and Maribel met because Heidi Maribel wanted to be a "wobbly candidate" with a "tough, tough partner". According to Heidi, it was the best shoot for which Lijana especially boasted. Backstage, she and Maribel then had heated discussions about who, thanks to whom, was performing well.

Decision on pop song lip syncing

When making the decision, the girls had to "not only demonstrate catwalk qualities, but also lip-sync", as Heidi put it. So during the walk you should move your lips to match a pop song that was previously tailored to you. They got the right outfits from guest judge and designer Jeremy Scott (44) from Moschino, who gave the candidates shrill pop outfits. This time, Vivian, whose performance Heidi Klum found "very sad" and Maribel, who had few glorious moments in the past few weeks, were on the brink – but both ultimately progressed. It was not enough for Bianca, who was simply too pale during the week.
