For the first time in the 15-year history of "Germany's next top model", after the initial model selection, three successors have joined the ambitious candidates. The freshly entered competition caused little interest in the young models – especially when one of them gave them the limelight.
Paradise or dragonfly hell?
The girls went to dreamlike Costa Rica at the beginning of the episode, where they immediately went to the hut choice in, as Heidi Klum (46) put it, Schlumpfhausen. However, they had done the math without the Caribbean crawling.
One will most likely not find her way to "GNTM" in the jungle camp: "I can't have dragonflies at all, they just look scary. And there are as many dragonflies as there are flies in Vienna!", Disgusted Tamara (19th ). And promptly worried about her health: "We are not vaccinated against rabies!" Shortly afterwards, however, the candidates should be far more annoyed about other unloved roommates than about spiders and insects.
During the jungle shoot, Heidi dropped the bomb that there would be three successors. Like the rest of the models, they were found a little later in front of the lens of "GNTM" long-running burner Rankin (54) and on tendrils along with Tarzan. They should wake their inner Jane in self-made leaf costumes – and one of the new ones did the best of all: "Jacky is my favorite today", she received the accolade from the famous photographer. Not the last one from a high place.
An angel visiting
As a star guest, Stella Maxwell (29) stopped by in Costa Rica, a real angel from "Victoria's Secret". She gave the girls "walking aid" and immediately had a favorite: "Wow, this is like a perfect walk," praised newcomer Jacky of all things about the green clover. Has the 21-year-old found the new hate object of the other participants?
The signs for the girls could not have been different on the final walk. "Especially in 2020 you're looking for interesting people," said Klum. This obviously did not apply to Daria (22), she was not given a photo. In contrast to transgender model Lucy (21), who was clearly aware of the panic given the still unfamiliar high heels as she wiggled over the catwalk. "I just want to survive the walk!"
Nina-Sue (19) and Charlotte (25) survived their walk in front of Heidi and Stella, but they had to bury their hopes for the title "Germany's next top model".
