Before the finale of the 18th season of “Germany’s next top model”: Heidi Klum talks about the five remaining candidates.
Only five candidates are in the 18th season of “Germany’s next top model” in the running. Nicole (49), Olivia (22), Selma (19), Somajia (21) and Vivien (23) will fight for the title on Thursday (June 15). Shortly before the final, Heidi Klum (50) assessed the strengths of the candidates in a statement from ProSieben.
“Modeling hasn’t been forgotten”: Heidi Klum celebrates ex-roommate Nicole
“Nicole just hasn’t forgotten how to model,” says Heidi Klum about the 49-year-old. “She always presents herself positively, has a certain class and elegance. All in her very natural way.” Klum lived with Nicole in a model flat share 30 years ago. Both took part in a model competition as part of “Gottschalk Late Night” in 1992. Heidi won and launched a world career, Nicole retired from the industry.
Heidi Klum also only has words of praise about the youngest in the final. “Selma is characterized by her modern, fresh style”. The model mom highlights the “million dollar smile” and the “unique gait” of the Berliner. “Even her extravagant cotton-candy-pink hair stays in everyone’s memory,” said Klum about the 19-year-old.
Klum praises Vivien’s “love for her curves”
Klum also has a lot of praise for Vivien: “With her love for her curves, Vivien gives me everything I want to see: self-confidence, changeability, elegance, discipline and most importantly: you can see that Vivien enjoys it,” says Klum about the 23-year-old from Koblenz.
With Somajia, Klum also sees the fun in it. “Somajia bubbles with energy and joy in everything she does. She is wholeheartedly involved. It’s always fun to watch her.” With Olivia, the presenter loves her “direct manner”: “Not only when she talks, also on the catwalk. Olivia exudes strength and gives us the most beautiful smile.”
