Curvy model Dascha convinces on the catwalk

During Fashion Week, the “GNTM” girls run one casting after the other and try to get as many jobs as possible.
Heidi Klums (47) girls arrive in the “real” world of models: Fashion Week Berlin is coming up! That means casting marathon and lots of jobs – but not for all girls at “Germany’s next top model” (May 6th, 8:15 pm, ProSieben).
Romina (21), Liliana (21) and Yasmin (19) are allowed to go to the casting for the catwalk of the Elias Rumelis label. Although she almost goes under with her 1.68 meters next to Yasmin and Liliana and her run is not completely convincing either, Romina gets the job – thanks to the red hair! At the show, which takes place online without a live audience, Romina really blossoms afterwards: “I was so insecure for so long and now I walk there as if I had never done anything else! I feel right at home.”
Runs by Curvy-Model Dasha
Dascha (20) is also doing really well: Designer Kilian Kerner (42) had booked her for his anniversary show – as the first curvy model in his career. And he doesn’t regret it. After the appearance of the young model, he is her biggest fan: “Without exaggerating, Dasha is one of the top 15 girls I’ve ever had on my catwalk. What this girl achieved today was really amazing.” He even gives Dasha both of the clothes she wore for him and advises Heidi Klum that Dasha should win the season. And Dasha also loved her first runway job: “The moment you go out, it’s just amazing. […] I could walk back and forth for ten hours. ”
In the evening, the girls in the shared flat are all happy that diversity has meanwhile found its way into the fashion world, as the castings and the current GNTM season show. Yasmin: “This message, folks! That all of us have a curvy model and a small model at Berlin Fashion Week!”
But there are also jobs away from the catwalks: Soulin (20) convinces the Lala Berlin label – first at the casting and then at the shooting. After that, designer Leyla Piedayesh (51) can’t get out of the raving about it either: “I would love to use her again and again for Lala Berlin!” And Dasha is about to grab another job: for an andmetics campaign, the girls are supposed to showcase their favorite body part. Dasha chooses her bottom and reveals her secret of success: “It’s so round. And food helped. And exercise. And food.” So much effort has to be rewarded: Dasha gets the job and convinces the customers again across the board: “We are so happy that we took Dasha.”
The disaster casting
Liliana, Ashley (22) and Yasmin are not doing quite as smoothly. The three have the chance to convince the nylon magazine. They are allowed to choose their own outfits and should apply make-up to match. But Ashley only puts on part of a three-piece suit. “Um, that’s actually not the outfit …”, the customers make clear to her when they see her. And ask them “out of respect for the designer” to wear the complete outfit after all.
Liliana’s outfit is not complete either: she simply leaves the bag on the left. And Yasmin does not wear skin-colored underwear, which is noticeable under a transparent dress. “Well, one of them forgot her underwear, the next one the bag and the third one almost the whole outfit,” said the nylon editor-in-chief, disappointed in the decision-making process. Ultimately, Liliana wins the race, who turned out to be particularly photogenic. During the subsequent shoot, she also shows herself from her best side, so that the nylon team predicts an international career for her.

Summary: Dascha and Soulin had three jobs in total, Romina and Liliana two, Yasmin, Ashley and Alex (23) one – and Luca (19) not yet a single one. That will be tight for the high school graduate. But she still gets one chance: At the big About You Opening Show, all the girls walk the catwalk with dancers, influencers and VIPs and become part of a fashion film. The walk will then be judged by Heidi and guest judge Lena Gercke (33) – who also has a model job to offer for her own show.
When judging their walks, the girls get honest criticism from the first GNTM winner. Yasmin was “not really noticed”, for example. You should work on your “energy” and charisma, so Gercke. There is even criticism for high-flyer Soulin: “In between I had the feeling that you were a bit shaky on your high heels.[…] And I had the feeling that you were a bit insecure here and there. “She is completely enthusiastic about Alex – and books her for her show. For Luca, however, the show is over, unsurprisingly, at this point. No model without it Job, as Heidi always says. That even makes Dasha cry: “She didn’t have the chance to prove herself, I’m so sorry.”
