On Monday, the cult documentary “Get out of debt” returns with a new debt counselor. Stilianos Brusenbach succeeds Peter Zwegat.

The cult format “Get out of debt” is back, but without Peter Zwegat (71): From 2007 to 2015 he achieved cult status in 139 episodes and several specials as a TV debt adviser with a flipchart. Now Stilianos Brusenbach is following in his footsteps. In a new edition of the successful documentary, he helps two families on their way out of debt on October 25th at 8:15 pm on RTL.

The falls

In Rhineland-Palatinate, the B. family is struggling with a debt of 50,000 euros. Family father Christian brought most of the debts with him into the young marriage. Unemployment, cramped living conditions and the ardent desire to enable the two children to have a carefree life put a heavy strain on everyday family life and marriage.

In Thuringia, the B. spouses are very afraid of losing their beloved home to the creditors. With a debt of 55,000 euros, Martina and Thomas fight each month to pay their high installments. But unemployment and illness put their stamina to the test. Your lifelong dream of owning your own house threatens to break due to the debts.

Expert in difficult negotiations

Stilianos Brusenbach is a graduate economist, debtor and tax advisor. With over ten years of professional experience, he is an expert in difficult cases and negotiations with creditors and banks. In addition to advising debtors, the father of three children also takes care of the debtors’ everyday problems. He advises nationwide from his law firms in Düsseldorf and Heinsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The production company RTL Studios accompanied Stilianos Brusenbach during his collaboration with the two families for several months for the documentary “Get out of debt”.
