How much we would like to lie by the pool somewhere in the south and feel the warm rays of the sun on our skin. Unfortunately, traveling is not an option at the moment – but that's not a problem! With these tricks you can get your summer tan back – without any vacation!

Everyday Tan

If you still think orange accidents when you think of self-tanning, you've missed a lot. Self-tanner concentrate – what a great invention! Because while you have to decide on a color with conventional self-tanners, you can determine the intensity yourself and vary it again and again. Mix a few drops of the product into your day or night care and then distribute it on your face and décolleté. A peeling beforehand supports an even result. Make sure you don't forget any area and be sure to wash your hands afterwards.

The self-tanning concentrates are very versatile: They are pretty much compatible with every product. This also works great with serums or body lotions! After a few hours you will see a result that is usually more natural than with conventional self-tanners. If you use a small amount every day, the tan is permanently refreshed and you do not have to worry about annoying self-tanner leftovers.

Quick tan

Most of the time it fails to apply the self-tanner: Sometimes you forget a spot, then it's streaky again. You can counteract this problem with a self-tanning spray. Because the fine spray distributes the product evenly – without any gloves! The sprays are usually enriched with moisturizing ingredients such as aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. A few splashes are enough for a naturally tanned complexion. It can go that fast! Here, too, you can regulate the intensity yourself, depending on the amount you apply. Great plus: some sprays also leave a great glow!

Tip for a particularly naturally tanned complexion: When applying the products, concentrate on the areas on the face that will be hit by the sun first. On your forehead, cheeks and bridge of your nose you will be the first to get a tan in summer – that's why it looks most natural there!

Self-tanner fail – what now?

The self-tanner only colors the top layers of the skin, which are naturally removed after a few days. So if you are not satisfied with the result, it will help to take a long bath and exfoliate the affected areas. But there are also special removal sprays with which you can quickly undo everything. So don't panic!

To prevent unwanted results, you should avoid the hairline. Very important: Your skin should be well hydrated beforehand. It is essential to test the color of the self-tanner beforehand on a covered part of the body and wait for the end result. If you don't like the color, you can always put the product back.
