(Boursier.com) — getlink announces that Le Shuttle Freight transported 125,672 trucks in June, an increase of 9% over one year. Since January 1, nearly 767,000 trucks (+19%) have crossed the Channel aboard Shuttles.
Le Shuttle for its part transported 203,296 passenger vehicles last month, driven by holiday departures for the British ‘half-term’ and the festivities linked to the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Since January 1, more than 872,000 passenger vehicles have crossed the Channel aboard Shuttles, compared to 251,358 a year earlier.
