The video game is all the rage at the moment, and its followers will be delighted: a company is looking for a player to promote itself on Animal Crossing.

The good news is that you can get paid to play it! Yummy House, a food chain in Hong Kong, is looking for someone to promote it in video games, reports Quartz.
Yummy House posted an announcement on Facebook on May 11. The employee sought must be "a game specialist", have artistic and creative qualities, and have played at least 100 hours at Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Once found, the ideal candidate will be offered a one-month contract. Salary ? 20,000 Hong Kong dollars, or around 2,400 euros. Not bad for playing a video game! The chosen person will be able to work from home, but will have to go to the company's premises three times a week to talk about their progress.
The person recruited by Yummy House will have the mission of using the virtual island created in the game to talk about different facets of the chain of stores, and to present its products, its factories, its points of sale and its logistics organization. The objective, of course, is to transform the interest of players so that they become consumers at Yummy House.
Near Quartz, Savannah Tang explains that 230 applications have already been received. Most come from residents of Hong Kong, but also Americans, Japanese, Taiwanese and Malaysians. According to the marketing director of Yummy House, the candidates are often artists, graphic designers or software designers.
