[Deal du jour] Amazon is offering a discount on video games Ghost of Tsushima on PS4. Currently at less than €28, this promotion offers the possibility of exploring the island of Tsushima as if you were there.
- What’s this, Ghost of Tsushima ? Last major exclusive for the Playstation 4, the game from Sucker Punch Productions studios invites you to embody Jin Sakai, a rônin ready to do battle with a horde of Mongols who have come to invade Japan. Freely inspired by the Mongol invasions that took place in the 13th century on the archipelago, the game invites you to discover a feudal Japan, pleasant to walk around and pretty to look at. The mayor of the real island of Tsushima in Japan has also appointed two artistic creators of the game as tourist ambassadors for the island. “They have spread the name and history of Tsushima to the world in the most beautiful way” he said in an official statement. Enough to make you want to wander around the game’s environments, on paper at least. Graphically very pretty, the artistic direction comes to save a classicism which spoils the work at times. The recipe, already seen and reviewed, is weighed down by sometimes laborious movements on the map, and a strawberry camera during the action. Fortunately, the exploration remains exciting, despite the flaws inherent in the genre. The pleasure of discovering the island offers some very beautiful video game moments, where visual poetry blends with historical fable, with obvious borrowings from the cinema of the master Kurosawa.
- Does this promotion on Ghost of Tsushima is interesting? If you want to gift the game to a loved one, this standard edition is perfect at this price. Be careful though: This game is available for free on PS4 and PS5, if you have a PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription. The Director’s Cut edition, along with its DLC, is currently on sale on Sony’s PS Store for €59.99. It’s a good plan if you don’t play much, don’t have a subscription or want to make a nice gift. Otherwise, it is surely better to take the subscription for a month or two.
