Unlike its predecessor Wildlands, Ghost Recon Breakpoint was not able to convince at its launch, but was still entitled to additional content until last November with theOperation Motherland. Just like for Watch Dogs Legion and, in a certain more radical way, to Hyperscape, so the publisher decided to stop the charges. Thereby, players will no longer be entitled to new contentbut will still be able to continue having fun solo and online, servers remaining open until further notice.
Here is our translation of the message shared by the development team on this occasion, which also mentions the NFT Ubisoft Quartz that the publisher no longer puts so much forward, it must be said that the players have made their opinion heard on the question in recent months when the subject was hot.
Hi Ghosts,
First and foremost, we want to say thank you for all the love and support you’ve given the game.
Over the past two years, we’ve released over 11 major updates and supported several unique initiatives. From the Ghost experience, to the return of Allied AI, Special Ops with Sam Fisher, working with Agents of R6 in Operation Amber Sky, to our Solidarity Tree initiative, we’ve worked hard to add content to Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
The past four months have seen the launch of our latest content, the new Operation Motherland mode, tons of new items including iconic 20th anniversary outfits and Quartz items for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. We will continue to maintain our servers for Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and we really hope you continue to enjoy the game and have fun playing solo or coop with your friends.
On behalf of the entire Ghost Recon team, we again want to thank you for your continued support and love for the license. The feedback you gave us regarding Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been key and will continue to help shape the future of the franchise.
Until next time, Ghosts.
What future for licensing? Well, it will pass at least by Ghost Recon Frontlinea FPS free-to-play with the false air of Battle Royale. Yes Breakpoint interests you, it may still be found on Amazon.
