Ghostwire: Tokyo Game Director Wants To Make DLCs, And Even Sequels

Tango Softworkshitherto known for The Evil Withinreleased earlier this year Ghostwire: Tokyo, an action and adventure game immersing us in the Japanese capital, invaded by supernatural creatures that must be repelled using magical powers. A title that has won over players and the specialized press.

In an interview given to IGN Japan, game director Kenji Kimura has revealed that he would like to make a sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyobut also DLCs for the first part. But there is nothing confirmed yet:

I think when things calm down a bit more and I’ve settled down a bit, I’ll have ideas for DLCs and sequels, and I want to do them. Nothing has been decided yet, so I can’t tell you more than that.

The question of platforms and rights will arise if all this were to see the light of day, because if Ghostwire: Tokyo is currently exclusive to PS4, PS5 and PC, Tango Softworks now belongs to Microsoftfollowing the acquisition of Bethesda and its parent company ZenixMax. The title should be released one day or another on Xboxbut concerning the sequel, it may well be exclusive to the machines of Microsoft, if it should see the light of day. You can find Ghostwire: Tokyo to €35.99 on Gamesplanet.
